Even before the first patient walked through the door at Kent Hospital, there has been a reliance on the generosity of our neighbors, friends, and community members to provide support to build and sustain the hospital we have today. Since 1951, Kent Hospital has grown from a small community hospital to the second busiest Emergency Department in the state, serving more than 70,000 patients per year.
As the community grows, Kent will continue to meet the health care needs of our patients, friends, and neighbors. Through the support of our donors, Kent Hospital is consistently investing in our facilities, medical equipment, and technology to improve the patient experience and improve outcomes.
To donate by check, please make it payable to Kent Hospital Foundation and mail it to:

A donor advised fund (DAF), which is like a charitable savings account, gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to Kent Hospital Foundation and other qualified charities. You can recommend a grant or recurring grants now to make an immediate impact or use your fund as a tool for future charitable gifts.
There are many meaningful ways to make your generosity go further. Make a gift in honor or memory of a loved one and we will notify the individual or family of your tribute. You may also be able to increase the impact of your gift through an employer matching gift program. Many companies match charitable contributions made by employees and retirees.
Gifts of securities may be wired directly to the Care New England account at Merrill Lynch. Your investment manager or broker should contact Mary Winstanley at Merrill Lynch: (401) 278-7019 direct line; (401) 369-8795 fax; or email mary_winstanley@ml.com.
